The Doing Good Foundation (DGF) is a registered charity that partners with local families throughout a supportive rent-to-own programme. ​​​​
We build modest homes for Bay of Plenty families who would otherwise struggle to access home ownership.​
Eligible families partner with us to build, rent & ultimately purchase their home.
We provide long-term housing stability that fosters generational thriving.

How it works
APPLy BUILD RENT OWN

Build your home
DGF builds / allocates a home to each accepted Partner Family​. -
Move in & rent
Once built / allocated, the family rents the home from DGF for up to 5 years, while contributing 400 hours towards preparing for home ownership. -
Build your deposit
At the end of the tenancy, DGF gifts back the net rent paid. -
Buy your home
This gifted amount becomes a *deposit, enabling families to secure a mortgage, purchase the property from DGF & step into home ownership.
