The Doing Good Foundation (DGF) is a registered charity that partners with local families throughout a supportive rent-to-own programme. ​​​​
What we do
We build modest homes for Bay of Plenty families who would otherwise struggle to access home ownership.​
Eligible families partner with us to build, rent & ultimately purchase their home.
We provide long-term housing stability that fosters generational thriving.
How it works
Build your home
DGF builds / allocates a home to each accepted Partner Family​.
Move in & rent​
Once built / allocated, the family rents the home from DGF for up to 5 years, while contributing 400 hours towards preparing for home ownership.
Build your deposit
At the end of the tenancy, DGF gifts back the net rent paid.
Buy your home

This gifted amount becomes a *deposit, enabling families to secure a mortgage, purchase the property from DGF & step into home ownership.
